Exhaustion

“I was desperate – absolutely exhausted and didn’t know which way to turn.”

Remember how you felt as you headed out the driveway after ten or so days at Living Valley Springs!

This is my third time here. When I sought out LVS – I was desperate – absolutely exhausted and didn’t know which way to turn.

I have three children – 13, 12 and nine. The eldest has severe disabilities – she is isn’t able to walk or feed herself and I do all the lifting and caring. She is also profoundly deaf, non-verbal and has grand mal seizures. As best I can, I try to lead a normal life for our other two children – running them to sports and school activities.

When I came to LVS I was hobbling because of arthritis, caused by lack of sleep and stress. Now I am pain free.

The time out in the beautiful surrounds was a chance to be still and rediscover my inner peace so I can cope with everything back home in a calm relaxed manner.

My system also suffers from a toxic overload so I keep coming back to renew my health. With everyday life it’s hard to keep on track. However I always know I will head out the Living Valley Springs gate invigorated, worry free and grateful of my time in such a nurturing environment.

I am writing this to encourage you to remember your time at LVS and to take the chance to give something back. As amazing as LVS is – it struggles to get the numbers in this economic environment. But it’s easy to pass on the word – it could be as simple as telling your friends and giving them a brochure.

We can all do our bit to pass the word on about the healing and renewal we found at LVS. Let’s help them achieve their dream as they have helped us.
